This includes transfusions, transplantation and to safeguard Canada's systems of life essentials in blood, plasma, stem cells, and organs and tissues.

The project builds on the success of other Bike Hubs established by CultureLink in the GTA to connect newcomers with their new community, by bike. This latest partnership is funded by the Region of Peel as part of a network of bike hubs being established throughout Peel Region. Programming includes a seasonal mentorship program for newcomer adults, earn-a-bike repair workshop series for newcomer youth, bike workshops and rides for newcomer seniors and bike repair, education and outreach opportunities for the broader public, both online and in-person at community events. ​

A non-profit organization that represents art made by or about First Nations, Inuit, Métis women and Indigenous. Some projects they have done in the past are the Kwe Performance Series which is when artists from different nations and communities perform to form a better understanding and appreciation for Indigenous arts, culture, and community. Another project they have done is the Ka’nikonhrí:yo Gatherings which helps connect cultural leaders to the Indigenous communities in Toronto. ​

eva's initiatives for
homeless youth
Eva’s Initiative for Homeless Youth is an organization that excels in providing accessible shelter, transitional housing, and forms of programming to help youth develop a brighter future free of homelessness. Eva Maud Smith, a Toronto community leader, started the organization. She helped shed light on hidden homelessness within the youth population. Through her advocacy, the organization, Eva’s Place was created in 1994 to help reduce and aid homelessness in a bigger approach.
